Dylan Debilzen (7IP, 3H, 8K, BB) hurled a complete game shutout Tuesday as Parkers Prairie posted a 10-0 win over Brandon-Evansville.  “Dylan was in complete control on the mound today,” stated Panthers Head Coach Derek Denny.  He also singled and doubles with a RBI!”

Joe Johnson led the offensive charge with a pair of singles, a double and two runs batted in.  David Revering, Noah Steidl, Cohen Noska and Shane Hanson all hit safely as well.  Zach Mrnak delivered the final blow to complete the win by the ten-run rule.  With two outs and Johnson on 3rd, Mrnak connected on a deep fly over the left fielder’s head.

“The defensive gem has to be the ‘strike ‘em out throw ‘em out’ in the second inning when Debilzen fanned his man at the plate, and Revering gunned his man down trying to steal third,” noted Coach Denny.

B-E was led by Desmond White (2-3) and Brady Perleberg (1-3).

“We didn’t bring the right kind of energy to the ballpark today and got beat soundly by a good baseball team,” reported Chargers Head Coach Brian Perleberg.  “Hopefully, we can learn from some of the things that occurred today and build on them.  We did get to see Carter White and Lucas Fuller pitch today, both of whom have been idle from the mound for a while.  I thought they did just fine, but some costly errors were hard to overcome.”

Brandon-Evansville plays a double header on Thursday in Evansville with a 4:00pm game against Sauk Centre and a 6:30pm match-up with Ottertail Central.

The Parkers Prairie JV team ran their no-hit streak to ten innings as they held the Brandon-Evansville JV without a hit in a 10-0 5-inning victory.

The Junior High games saw Parkers win 13-5 in game one and B-E win 5-4 in a 3-inning second game, shortened due to time constraints.
