Warriors Advance in 6A Playoffs with Win Over Brandon-Evansville

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross posted a 64-49 win over Brandon-Evansville on Thursday night in a Section 6A playoff game in Wheaton.  The Warriors led at the half, 38-20.  The loss ends the season for the lady Chargers.  The Warriors will play again on Saturday against KMS at 2:45pm at Minnewaska Area High School in Glenwood.

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross placed four players in double figures, led by Julie Schmidt with 19, including 12-of-14 free throws.  Jordyn Perry had 15 points and two players, Brylie Schultz and Reagan Spilde had 11 points each.

Kylee Dingwall had a big night for the Chargers as she delivered 22 points, 17 of them coming after halftime.  She was joined in double figures by Haddy Baune, who scored all 12 of her points in the first half.
