Brandon-Evansville struck early in their baseball game against Barnesville on Tuesday, scoring three runs in the first, three in the third and four more in the fourth to open up a 10-0 lead for the Chargers on the way to a 10-3 victory.  Brady Perleberg (4IP, 2R 7K, 3K) was efficient on the mound and also went 2-for-4 at the plate with a run batted in and a run scored.

“Our offense got off to a good start and put some runs on the board early tonight which set the tone for the game,” said Brandon-Evansville Head Coach Brian Perleberg. “Several guys are starting to swing the bats better as of late and tonight we were able to get some clutch hits when we needed them.  We had a solid defensive effort and received another quality start from Brady Perleberg and also a few relief innings from Riley Perleberg. It’s been a busy week for us so after playing five games in a row we are looking forward to getting a practice in tomorrow before hosting St. Johns on Thursday.”

Brady Perleberg (4IP, 2R, 7H, 3K) was the winning pitcher and Noah Krause (2.2IP, 6R, H, 3k) took the loss for Barnesville.

Brandon-Evansville was led at the plate by Tyler Bitzan (2-4, 2R, RBI), Dezmond White (2-4, 2R), Jayden Hoidahl (2-3, RBI), Riley Perleberg (1-2, 2RBI) and BradyPerleberg (2-4, R, RBI).
