Kylee Dingwall scored 21 points to lead the Chargers and she was joined in double figures by Olivia Otto who scored 14. Kiley Lund chipped in with 7 points.
“It was a very physical game tonight and that got us to play sloppy at times, but the girls still found a way to win,” said B-E Head Coach Zach Traphagen. “We know that we have to do a much better job of playing with composure offensively. Credit to Bertha-Hewitt on playing very physical and making us uncomfortable at times. Kylee Dingwall and Olivia Otto did a really nice job of taking the ball to the basket and finishing strong through contact. Defensively we need to do a better job of playing aggressively without committing unnecessary fouls. A win is a win, but I believe the girls know we need to play much better moving forward.”
Brandon-Evansville (2-0) will have their home opener against Browerville on Tuesday night in Evansville.
