Brandon-Evansville Softball Awards

The Brandon-Evansville softball team won their seventh straight Pheasant Conference championship during the 2021 season, but they also excelled academically as the Chargers received the Team Academic Gold Award which is awarded to teams with a cumulative team GPA of 3.75 or above.  Recently, B-E handed out their season awards.

Conference MVP, All-Section 6A honoree and first team All-State selection Bailey Schaefer was named the Most Valuable Player on the team and received the Silver Slugger.  She was joined by Conference Pitcher of the Year, Mikenna Pattrin, Sydney Schaefer and Taylin Kramer as first team All-Conference selections.  Pattrin was an All-State Honorable Mention selection.  Bailey Schaefer, Mikenna Pattrin and Korrie Randt earned Academic All-State honors.  Randt and Kylee Dingwall were All-Conference Honorable Mention selections.

Other team awards went to Sydney Schaefer (Gold Glove), Kramer (Miss Hustle), Randt (Best Teammate) and Morgan Bitzan (Most Improved).

The Chargers, who had an overall record of 17-4 and a conference mark of 13-1, finished with a team batting average of .348.  Head Coach Kasi Sieling was named Pheasant Conference Coach of the Year.
