The Brandon-Evansville volleyball team hosted Parkers Prairie in a Little Eight Conference match on Monday night, winning in 3 sets 25-22, 25-16, 25-16.

“Tonight we were back at home,” said Head Coach Kelly Olson. “Where we struggled with our serving last week, we were able to dial in and move players on the opposing side around, leading to aces and out of system balls back to our side, unfortunately it was these out of system balls that we struggled a bit passing in sets one and two. While we were able to rattle off several aces in each seat, Parkers also gave our passers a workout in serve receive. We eventually settled into more of a controlled system to finish the second and close out the third, capitalizing off our defensive scramble and being able to put balls down out of system.”

Bailey Schaefer led the attack with 16 kills and Mikenna Pattrin added 6.  Korrie Randt distributed 24 set assists and Schaefer was the dig leader with 8.  Serving leaders were Gretchen Bredberg (15/15, 1 ace), Taylor Yeats (13/13, 1 ace), Randt (22/23, 6 aces) and Pattrin (8/8).

Tuesday night the Chargers are on the road, heading to Rothsay to face the Tigers.
